About Me
I started my publishing career about 20 years ago in the marketing department of Random House. I soon became the Director of Advertising and Promotion for The Crown Publishing Group, and after 12 years I moved to New York's Hudson Valley. For the next 5 years, I worked at a wonderful independent bookstore as their Events Director.
My experience at the publishing level and the bookstore level has given me a unique and valuable insight into each project that I work on. I am well aware of the value of in-house buzz, on-line marketing, store placement, author appearances, community reading organizations, etc.
It is my goal to successfully steer my clients through the entire process, from writing and editing to publishing and marketing.
Do I have other interests? Yes! When I'm not driving my two children wherever they need to be I am hiking in the Adirondacks, skiing, gardening, and busy with my local fire department as 1st Lieutenant of the Rescue Squad.
